Texas Camp #1 Rules
No males may wear ear rings.
Except for receiving scheduled medication, all campers going to the First Aid Station must be accompanied by a sponsor. MED TIMES: 6:30, 12:30, 5:00, 9:00
The Snack Bar is open during recreation times and following evening services, however the cafeteria food is good.
Each camper should show reverence and go to the restroom prior to the services—leaving during services is distracting.
Trash barrels are located conveniently around the camp. They are hungry and need to be fed! Please put your trash in them instead of on the ground. Camp must be cleaned before we leave on Friday.
Extra supplies as needed are available in the cafeteria.
No riding in the back of pickup trucks while on camp grounds.
NO ELECTRONIC devices (walkie talkies, Gameboys, video games, Ipods/MP3/CD players, etc.) allowed at camp except for Bible/Bible study use.
ALL CELL PHONES turned OFF during class and services. Cell phones may be used after evening services.
IT IS STRONGLY SUGGESTED THAT ALL CHURCH GROUPS SIT TOGETHER DURING WORSHIP SERVICES
It is the responsibility of each church’s pastor and/or sponsor (male and female) to inform the campers of their church as to proper dress at camp.
Cover-ups are to be used going to and from the pool. All campers are to wear shoes at all times.
CAMPERS are NOT allowed to tape, staple, glue, sticky tack, thumb tack, nail or otherwise anything to any wall in the tabernacle, dorms, or other building. If you have something to hang use the bulletin board or ASK BRO. LEE first!!! You/your church will be required to pay for any damage done to the buildings.
Pine Springs Baptist Camp Rules
This is a Christian Camp. The conduct of each camper should be in keeping with Christian camping.
No personal pets are permitted during camps or retreats unless being housed and contained in a reserved RV site.
No smoking is permitted on camp property.
Alcoholic beverages, firearms, or gambling are not permitted.
Modest dress should be always practiced.
Specialized activities (swimming, challenge course, gellyball, etc.) are only permitted when facilitated by trained camp staff.
Each camper is expected to attend religious services and participate in the recreational and educational programs.
Any building defacing activities are forbidden.
Each group is responsible for the enforcement of all policies and rules and the supervision of their campers at all times.
Each group is responsible for the campers’ care of equipment and buildings.
Campers should not be left unsupervised in the cabins at any time.
Each group is responsible for all damages to the camp property. The group is expected to leave the campgrounds and buildings clean before leaving.
Signs, posters, decorations, etc. must not be affixed to any painted surface or interior walls without prior approval of camp manager.
VIOLATION OF CAMP POLICIES AND RULES MAY RESULT IN EXPULSION FROM THE CAMP WITH NO REFUND OF ANY FEES PAID
Dress Code
Modest dress is practiced a Texas Camp #1. These tips and tricks will help.
NO racerback tops
Tank tops must be 3 fingers wide on the straps
Shorts should be fingertip length
Boys/Men are encouraged to wear pants to evening worship (NO SHORTS)
Girls/Women are encouraged to wear dresses or pants to evening worship (NO SHORTS)
